Some minor improvements.

Added light sources to the engine flames and made objects as light blocking type.Fixed a few underlying bugs.

Added a working radar system and some obstacles.

Some improvement and bug fixes. A working rudimentary radar system has been implemented.Some obstacles have been added, you can land on those rocks if the surface is in the landing tolerances.Some minor graphical bugs were ironed out.

A first glimpse of the upcoming Lunar Express.

Another reimagined game from my childhood. Lunar Express is a reimagined version of the classic Lunar Lander from Atari inc. and will have somewhat tweaked and improved game play when finished. This is the first 0.0. version to test out.More to come soon ™

Some nasty bugs fixed that crept in the game last time.

There was a nasty bug on the extra life code that when you got high enough score, you practically got infinite lifes, FIXED.For some freakishly mistyping accident the item spawner stopped spawning items once the rocket was fueled up, FIXED.

More new enemies and level 3 all done.

Today I made the 3rd level of the game and it’s enemy type of acid bubble. 3 fully playable levels with different enemies on each just like in the original game. Enjoy!

Hooray!It’s going along nicely. NEW!Brand new enemy that will appear in newly added the level 2. Bugfixes.Enlarged the pickup hit boxes for items so that when they are laying flat on the ground they are easier to pick up.

Minor bugfixes

Fixed some annoying sound bugs. On web release the music loop broke down occasionally, FIXED.On web release the sounds were not properly preloaded and started with an annoying delay, FIXED.Timing interval of the end scene fireworks was on integer resulting too often to fire fireworks simultaneously. Slight update on visuals.

I added an alpha blended wavy reflective water in the pond at the park.Also Dave now wanders around more coherently sometimes sitting on the bench.More stuff made in the game already that aren’t visible in this stage of the development o be revealed.I’m working on some scenes to be added in Dave’s story and surroundings and I’m remaking the graphics as well bit by bit. Todays progress

Today I managed to advance on  Dave quite a bit. I made wavy alpha blended reflective water and put Stan swimming in it while Dave sat on the bench brooding…Also I scripted a few of the scenes that are going to be in the game in one for or another.
